Eval board for DOSA buck and buck-boost power modules

Recom-RPM-RBB10-eval-boards

“These boards provide customers with an effortless way to evaluate these DOSA modules,” said the firm – DOSA is the Distributed-power Open Standards Alliance.

RPM‐1.0, RPM‐2.0, RPM‐3.0, and RPM‐6.0 buck regulators generate a constant output voltage at up to 6A and include functions such as: trimming, sequencing, soft‐start, enable, and sensing. Input range is 3-17V, except the 6A version which is 4-15V. Output is 3.3V or 5V depending on version.

The RPM eval board allow behavior in over-load or over-temperature to be assessed, said Recom.

RBB10 buck/boost converter outputs up to 4A at a preset 3.3V or 5V, whihc can be adjusted between 1.0V and 5.5V using resistors on the evaluation board.

In thi scase, the dc supply can be higher, lower or the same as the set output voltage.

“All of the functions of the RBB10‐2.0 regulator such as the different operating modes, output trim, enable, and the sense input can be easily evaluated using the break out connectors,” said the firm.
