Input options are 9-75Vdc or 14-160Vdc, according to EN50155, the the supplies meet that standard for railway applications, as well as being compliant to EN55032.

Output options are: 5, 12, 15, 24, 28, 48 or 53Vdc, with efficiency up to 92% and isolation up to 3kVac.

“Modern railways rely on a host of electronic systems in order to operate safely and provide passenger comfort and amenities,” said Gresham Power, which is stocking the converters. “A typical railway carriage distributes either 72 or 110Vdc of battery power to these various systems, many of which require lower and regulated operating voltages. In addition, the main battery power may also fluctuate when feeding higher power systems onboard the train. OFQC Series boast extremely a wide input range, so designers can use them in a variety of systems.”

Protection is included against over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, short-circuit and over-temperature, and remote on/off is included.

RoHS and REACH compliance is established, and CE Mark pending.
