Current transformers are used to isolate test equipment during ac current measurement.

The range offers 1% accuracy (‘class 1’, according to RS) at rated current and covers devices with primary current handling from 5A up to 3kA.

Key features of the transformers, according to the firm, include sealable terminal covers and a range of case sizes and mounting options – the latter including wall, cable, bus-bar and DIN-rail mounting.

They meet UL94V0 approvals.

Cases are square-type and moulded from flame-retardant polycarbonate.

The transformers are shipping now to EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
